Canter Safari

If you wish to explore the wilderness of Jim Corbett in a truly unique way, Canter Safari is the perfect choice. Unlike the jeep safari, the canter safari offers a larger group experience, making it ideal for families, friends, and wildlife enthusiasts who want to enjoy the park together.

Why Choose Canter Safari?

Best for Dhikala Zone – Canter safari is the only authorized way (besides staying inside) to explore the famous Dhikala Zone, known for its rich biodiversity and higher chances of spotting the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.

Group Adventure – Each canter accommodates around 16–20 passengers, making it a social and exciting journey.

Open & Elevated Seating – The elevated seats provide a clear panoramic view of the jungle, ensuring no one misses out on wildlife sightings.

Guided by Experts – The safari is always accompanied by a trained naturalist/guide who shares insights about the flora, fauna, and landscapes of Corbett.

The Dhikala Zone is one of the most ecologically rich regions of the park and offers breathtaking views of the Ramganga River, grasslands (chaurs), and Sal forests. Guided by trained forest officials, the Canter Safari ensures safety and a learning experience for wildlife enthusiasts of all ages.

We prepared to encounter majestic tigers, herds of wild elephants, spotted deer, gharials basking on riverbanks, and vibrant avian species. The shared nature of this safari makes it budget-friendly and great for solo travelers or small groups.
